Resolved Question: Financial aid/scholarships at SUNY schools?

I'm applying for college in a few months, and I have a few questions that I hope someone could help me with. I want to go to a school in New York and major in journalism. NYU was my first choice, but I don't think I could get enough scholarship money, grants, scholarships, etc. to pay for that huge tuition, so I've been looking at SUNY schools instead. I've narrowed my list down to this: Purchase (first choice) backups in the event that I'm not accepted there... New Paltz Buffalo Plattsburgh Brockport These schools all have about the same tuitions and fees (I'm only leaning towards Purchase because of its proximity to NYC), but I'm wondering if some of them offer more financial aid and scholarships than others. If so, which school gives out the most money to students with financial need? Feel free to let me know if one school has a better journalism program than the rest, also. And if this helps with scholarship info, I have about a 3.9 GPA and I got a 27 on my practice ACT (I didn't study for that one, so I predict I'll get around a 29 on the real test).... Read More »
