Resolved Question: I need opinions on traveling at 16?

My best friend lives in Plattsburgh,New York which is about 23 hours away from me.We have not met in person however we've been friends for 8 months and we've skyped face to face, we know everything about each other and we're closer than any average friendship that I could think of but we do actually want to meet this summer. I'm 16 years old and I would fly to her house and spend the week with her mom and then she'd fly to mine and spend the week with our family.
